Farmers' Practices to Overcome Some Agricultural Production Problems and Extension Requirements for Its Development in Sharqia Governorate

Abstract

The research aimed to identify degree of implementation of practices to overcome some of studied agricultural production problems and their to them. determine significance correlation between implementation of practices to overcome some of studied agricultural production problems in its fields and between independent variables. determine degree of relative contribution of independent variables with significant correlation combined in explaining total variation in implementation of practices to overcome some of studied agricultural production problems. identify extension requirements that need from agricultural service organizations to develop agricultural production in future. The data was conducted on asample of 337 respondents in villages of Al-Dhahairia. Al-Zarzmon. and Bani Saleh in Sharqia Governorate. using questionnaire from March to May 2023. data was analyzed by frequencies. percentages. mean. arithmetic mean. Cronbach's alpha coefficient. Pearson correlation coefficient. Step Wise. Research showed that: two-thirds of the respondents have a moderate level of total adaptation practices to overcome some of studied agricultural production problems by (63.5%). And It was found the implementation of the practices to overcome the effects of soil degradation is in first with (30.8). while implementation of the practices of disposing of agricultural waste came in the last with (25.4). Also showed that the most important extension requirements that need from agricultural cooperative association to develop agricultural production in future in Sharqia Governorate were Preparing a plan for the distribution of fertilizer quotas to farmers in a suitable manner and at the specified times with (160.5).
