Abstract

Six Sigma methodology is considered a modern trend to achieve high levels in the education institutions performance quality, and it is one of the successful methods in developing the environment of education systems with its human and material components. Thus, the research aims to determine the sigma level of the agricultural technical education outputs in Egypt, using DEA, and the 6σ methodology. The research showed that the sigma level of the Egyptian agricultural technical education was about 1.15, which is a low level of quality that reflects the low quality of Egyptian agricultural technical education which means failure of the agricultural technical education to meet the needs of the labor market, which leads to the reluctance of students to join it.
The research recommends activating the quality system in agricultural technical education schools, setting specific standards for them and raising the efficiency of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Authority for agricultural technical education schools.
