Effect of Interior Design and Safety Factors of Child's Room on his Independency Behavior

Abstract

This research aims mainly to study the Effect of Interior Design and Safety Factors of Child's Room on his Independency Behavior, This research follows a descriptive method and analytical. The sample consisted of the fifth and sixth grade primary students; the sample was conducted on (200) students. Their age were (9- 12) years, the sample have been selected object-deliberate manner. The research tools consisted of questionnaire form that included: socio-economics characteristics of the  sample students and their families- Interior Design of home - Interior Design of Child's Room - Safety Factors of Child's Room- Independency Behavior and its axes.
The results of the study: There is a significant positive correlation at the probabilistic level of (0.05) between the interior design of the child's room and the father's education. Also, a significant positive correlation was found at the probability level (0.01) between the interior design of the child's room and the average family income and the mother's education. There is a significant inverse correlation at the probability level of (0.05) between the safety factors in the child's room and the age of the father, while there is an inverse correlation at the probability level( 0.01) between the safety factors of the child's room and between each of the child's arrangement between the brothers and the age of the mother. There is a significant effect of 34.7% at the (0.01) probability level for the interior design of the child's room and the safety factors in the child's room on the independent behavior.
