Determining Factors of the Quality Standards of Basic Education Organizations in Desouk District of Kafr El- Sheikh Governorate

Abstract

This study aimed at identifying the most important determining factors of the quality standards of basic education organizations in  Desouk district of Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate. The method of social  survey was used as an appropriate method for testing the assumptions of the current study and achieving its objectives as a descriptive and analytical study. The study was conducted in Desouk district of Kafr El-Sheikh governorate, where a random sample of 72 schools was selected. The sample included from primary schools 37 Arab government schools, 2 language schools, and one private school, and from preparatory schools 29 Arab government schools, and 2 language schools in addition to one private school. The field data to conduct the study have been collected by means of a questionnaire with personal interviews for 72 managers of the selected schools. Descriptively some statistical methods were used as the arithmetic mean, standard deviation, percentages, and frequencies to describe the variables, and the Crombach's reliability coefficient (alpha) was used to estimate the consistency of the variables. Inferentially a hierarchical multiple regression analysis was used to determine the most important determinants of quality standards in basic education organizations, and (t, F) values were used to judge the significance. The results of the study found a statistically significant effect for each of the number of training courses the degree of problem suffering on the variable of quality standards at a level of significance of at least 0.05, and. The independent personal and organizational variables explained together about 44.9% of the variance of quality standards of basic education organizations.
