Home Economics Teachers Attitude Towards The Aduio Visual Aids in Preparatory Schools in Alexandria City

Abstract

This research was performed for the purpose of studying Home Economic teachers attitude towards the audio visual aids in preparatory schools in Montaza , Shark and Waset Districts – Alexandria . Data were collected randomly from 105 teachers by the “ attitude scales “ , 60 of these teachers and students were from governmental schools , the other 45 from privet schools .
 Field visits and questionnaires , field through  personal interviews , were used to obtain research data . Data was organized and analyzed statistically using percentages , mean and standard deviation , as well as Pearson’s correlation coefficient and chi-square with Spss V.10 .
The results were as follows :

54.3% of Home Economic teachers were lower used audio visual in teaching .
The mean & standard deviation for information about audio visual were 67.53 + 9.56 & the level of  information about audio visual for Home Economic teachers (54.3%) were High.
74.3 % of Home Economic teachers attitude toward the using audio visual were normal statistically.
There was a negative correlation between the Home Economic teachers attitude toward the using audio visual and the age , experience range and kind of school . also There was a negative correlation between the level of  information about audio visual for Home Economic teachers  and experience range . finally There was a positive correlation between the Home Economic teachers attitude toward the using audio visual and between the level of  information about audio visual for Home Economic teachers  .
