The search was conducted in Siwa Oasis on a simple random sample of (376) female respondents
in the oasis, who were identified using the Crijsey and Morgan equation, The field data were collected through the personal interview of the respondents using the questionnaire form during the period from mid-September to mid-November 2020, and the numerical inventory and tabular presentation with frequency, percentages, average degree, and the Pearson correlation coefficient, and the multiple and gradient correlational and regression analysis model were used to process and statistically analyze the data.
These results pointed out the following:
1- The respondents monitored thirty-five features of the social and cultural changes that have occurred in the study population in the recent period.
2- The results indicated that (43.3%) of the respondents fall into the category of high knowledge due to their knowledge of the impact of social and cultural changes in improving their quality of life in the research area, and that (29.8%) of them fall into the category of medium knowledge, and that (26.9%) of them fall into the category of knowledge. Low, and the average degree of knowledge of this effect reached (2.16), and it falls in the middle class for this effect.
3- The results confirmed that the degree of knowledge of the respondents on the impact of social and cultural changes in improving their quality of life according to the logic of the study was positively and morally related at a level of 0.01 to each of the following variables: the degree of membership in local organizations, the degree of exposure to information sources, the degree of tendency towards modernization, the degree of values Social, and it was inversely related to the significant level of 0.05 with the age variable, and it was positively related to the significant level at 0.05 with the variables in the number of years of education and the degree of economic values, while the relationship was inverse and non-significant with the variables of the number of family members, and the degree of adherence to Asian customs and traditions.
4- The results showed that the percentage of the contribution of these variables in explaining the total variance of the degree of the respondents’ knowledge of the impact of social and cultural variables in improving their quality of life in the research area was significant at a level of 0.01, and that the percentage of their combined contribution to the predictive ability to explain this variance is (68.6%), including (29.9%) is attributed to the variable of the degree of tendency towards modernization, (14.2%) is attributed to the variable of the degree of social values, (10.4%) is attributed to the variable of degree of exposure to information sources, and (7.0%) is attributed to the variable of degree of membership in local organizations (4.9%) is attributed to the variable of number of years of education, and (2.2%) is attributed to the variable of degree of economic values.
