Abstract

The purpose of the research is to identify the interest of Iraqi government universities in strengthening the administrative reform of university services, and to present some suggestions and recommendations related to strengthening this role. A descriptive approach was adopted and a sample of 60 administrative and academic leaders was selected in public universities. The research found that there is increasing interest from Iraqi government universities in strengthening administrative reform of university services. This is evident in the interest of considering the entry of Iraqi universities into international classifications as a goal and as an indicator of the quality of higher education in Iraq. And to strengthen the ministry's plans to reduce slack and spread the academic atmosphere and raise scientific standards and seek to contract with the state or companies to complete the work. As well as to encourage investment in the expansion of government colleges and raise their academic levels. The study recommended the need to seek communication with the society and meet its needs, and the need to provide an administrative guide to help students and researchers to know the mechanism of university services provided to them, and review the pattern and methods of university administration to fit the objectives of university education and strategic directions, and interest in research aimed at applying scientific and technological knowledge To improve quality.
